Hi Everyone!  Our in-person meetings are back!  

Join us on Saturday, December 11th, 7:00-9:00 pm. for a White Elephant Gift Exchange and Ugly Christmas Sweater/Mask contest. 

 

What to bring:

  1. Your smiling face!  We cannot wait to see you!

  2. A wrapped gift if you want to participate in the white elephant gift exchange.  The gift you plan to give away should not be more than $10 in value.  Contact Sandi Miller if you need some gift ideas (See rules below)

  3. Wear an ugly sweater and a decorated mask if you would like to participate in the contest. (See rules below)

 

Ugly Sweater/Mask Contest:


ACN requires that all persons in the facility wear masks at all times...  So let's have some fun with it.  Take any regular mask and make it festive for the party Also, we cannot wait to see your ugly Christmas Sweater!  It can be a sweater you bought or one you decorated yourself. 

 

There will be prizes for the most creative, most hilarious, and most original! White Elephant Gift Exchange

 

Rules:

  1. Each player brings one wrapped gift to give away. Each gift should not cost more than $10.  All gifts will be sat at one table after you arrive at the party.

  2. Players draw numbers to determine what order they will go in.

  3. Players will stand or sit in a circle where they can see the gift table.

  4. The player who drew #1, selects a gift from the gift table and opens it, making sure everyone can see the gift!  Please do not select your own gift to open.

  5. The following players can choose to either pick an unwrapped gift from the pool or steal a previous player’s gift.  No gift one gift can be stolen more than three times.

  6. When a player's gift is taken, that player chooses a new gift from the gift table to open.

  7. Then it is the next player's turn and they can either choose to take the gift from a previous player, or they may choose and open an unwrapped one on the central gift table. Again, making sure that the gift can be seen by all Participating

  8. After all the players have had a turn, the first player gets a chance to swap the gift he or she is holding for any other opened gift. Please use the lower-level gym entrance and don't miss out on all the fun! Any participant who requires supervision and support must have a parent or caregiver present for the duration of the event.  Parents and caregivers are welcome to participate in activities. This is also a wonderful opportunity for you to socialize with other caregivers too!
