Description

You're going to play anyway, why not play for a great cause?

Finger Lakes Health's Cardiac Rehab programs at Geneva General Hospital and Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital offer high quality education and monitored exercise to thousands of patients from the Finger Lakes area that have experienced heart-related medical problems. Our dedicated and talented professionals provide patients the support and tools they need to develop and maintain a heart healthy lifestyle.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other restrictions, we have been unable to host our much beloved and long-standing Cardiac Rehab annual golf tournaments. These tournaments provided the largest source of funding for scholarships for patients who otherwise would be unable to attend the program, due to financial restraints. The event cancellations have led to a significant depletion of scholarship funds, at a time when our patients need it the most. In 2019, almost half of our patients needed the scholarship monies in order to participate in Cardiac Rehab and due to the impact of the pandemic, we expect that number to increase.

In order to recoup these much needed funds, while maintaining the safety of our participants, this year we are changing the format of our golf tournament and introducing the inaugural, 108 HOLES FOR HEARTS challenge. This virtual fundraising event will allow participating players to golf at their own rate, at the locations and on the dates of their choosing, with the goal of completing 108 holes over a period of 12 weeks. All players, WITH YOUR HELP, will collect sponsorships totaling $1000 each (or the equivalent of 10 sponsors donating $1/hole.)

REGISTER TODAY AS A PLAYER AND/OR SPONSOR! YOU CAN SELECT A SPECIFIC CARDIAC REHAB SITE (GENEVA GENERAL OR SOLDIERS & SAILORS) TO PLAY FOR OR SPONSOR.

Thank you, for helping us keep the "Heart of the Finger Lakes' healthy!
