Raised of $2,000

$2,000

Dear Friends and Family:

Thank you to those of you who have so generously offered to provide support for the young mother I have shared about from Haiti who is currently pregnant and residing in a NYC shelter.

Here are several ways that you can donate:

(1) Purchase an items from the Target and Amazon Wishlists.
(2) Donate to this Donation Drive.  A few of you have donated via our main website which is perfectly fine since all the money goes to the same pot anyways. Your donations to the dedicated drive to be reflected on the grid.
(3) Mail gift cards in a Mother’s Day card for her, to my attention. I can meet with her to go through Target.com and have her pick out what she would like for us to order for her.  This way, she can shop and select what she wants.

Ship to:

Athletes for Charity
10628 Queens Blvd 750634
Forest Hills, NY 11465

(4) If there is a specific item you would like to purchase and donate, please order to ship to address above.
(5) A few who live nearby have offered to join me in picking up and delivering the items to her throughout the coming weeks. You may reach me at info@athletesforcharity.com.
(6) Please share this post and encourage friend to lend a hand.  Any excess will be used to support additional families at the shelter.

Thank you again to all of you for being a blessing and answering our call to support women and families in need for this upcoming Mother's Day!  My personal contributions this year will be in honor of my beloved mother who was once an immigrant from Haiti herself, having overstayed her visa and remaining in the US in the early 70s. It was a difficult journey for her and my birth ultimately secured her residency in this country. My mom ultimately became a U.S. Citizen which was one of her many proud moments in life.  May this effort honor my loving mother and also be in alignment with God's Will.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

May God bless you all!

Sincerely,

Cathleen Laporte
