These dollars will help protect the land through conservation easements; make it possible to restore existing and develop new ski and mountain biking trails; build a Nordic center and a roller ski path; expand snowmaking; set up an ice-skating rink and sledding hill; and build a lookout tower on Mt. Telemark. More information can be seen here

Birkie One - Creating Access to the Ski, Bike, Run Mission - Donate to Birkie One Here
Silent sports such as cross country skiing, mountain/ fat biking and even running can be resource intensive and thus exclusionary for members of our community.  The idea of the Birkie One initiative is to support access to skiing, biking and running for members of our community who might not otherwise have access.  Beginning first with youth programming, the Birkie One initiative is all about creating opportunities for access to the activities for those who otherwise would be excluded.

Snowmaking  - Donate to Snowmaking Here

Access to early, consistent and late winter snow has extended the ski season and improved conditions when untimely warm weather takes its toll on skiing. The Birkie strives to having snow for skiing made for the late November Turkey Birkie. With snowmaking expanding to nearly 4km for 2021-2022 our snowmaking efforts continue to grow.  Snowmaking is a resource intensive process, including labor, equipment, water and power.  Your support is essential to ensuring snowmaking can be sustained and extended at the Birkie start.
