Hello, and THANK YOU for your support, it means the world to me - and my teammates! Alexia and Katia started rowing in 2021 and it has impacted us in more ways than we could have ever imagined. Through rowing, we learned to be disciplined, push past our comfort zones, and reach far for new goals. All of our accomplishments could not have been done without our amazing and supportive team, as well as our hard working and dedicated coach. By the end of of our first year of rowing, our 8+ boat won State Champions in the NY States regatta. This could not have been achieved without CIR’s amazing facilities and coaching. In addition, we also were given the ability to practice and race a double, that has been graciously named after us: P^2. This double has given us the ability to become stronger rowers both mentally and physically. We consider CIR to be family and are so grateful for the support and opportunities they have given us. As a result, we would love to give back to the team as much as possible. To help you understand why we love this sport and our team so much, please enjoy this video by 20/21 Team captain, Sydney Tuck.

In efforts to give back to our amazing team, there will be an annual capital equipment fundraiser on Sunday March 5th. This fundraiser will help pay for all the equipment that we use... which in our sport is typically made of hand-laid carbon fiber that is very costly. On Sunday, my teammates and us will be investing our sweat equity and completing a grueling 90 minute on our indoor rowing machines (called ergs). It will be mentally and physically exhausting, but it's for such a great cause, and I will have all of my supporters in mind to keep me motivated.

This year is an especially important fundraiser as proceeds will fund the purchase of the most stunning racing shell specifically designed for high school girls, available in the world ~ Hudson USP 8.12. The innovative and groundbreaking Hudson USP series racing shells are made in Canada and are quickly replacing Empachers at the fastest women's collegiate programs across the country. The "USP" (Ultra Super Predator) marque is Hudson's Flagship model, in their premium "Shark" line-up. A more detailed description of the shell we have ordered can be found on our website.

There is no question that this stunning shell, made possible by your generous support, will help us achieve our goals this coming Spring Championship season, and for a decade to come! Thank you again for your support... especially if you have supported me before!
