Hello everyone! As you may know, I am part of a rowing club named City Island Rowing (CIR). City Island Rowing is an all girls team located in the Bronx, NY. I have been a member of this team for about two and a half years and I can confidently say it is one of the best and most meaningful parts of my life. It has allowed me to become stronger, both mentally and physically. It has taught me determination, hard work, commitment, and how to have a positive outlook on life in general. CIR is truly a family, and I am so grateful to be part of such a wonderful environment.

Every year, City Island Rowing hosts an Ergathon (A team fundraiser named after the rowing machine, ergometer). Every Ergathon donation goes straight into the CIR capital fund to buy durable assets for the club. This money will pay for boats, oars, and other necessary supplies.

The Ergathon is officially held on Sunday, March 5th, but donations are gratefully accepted at any time. This year is an especially important fundraiser as proceeds will fund the purchase of the most stunning racing shell specifically designed for high school girls, available in the world ~ Hudson USP 8.12. If you want to learn more about this boat, feel free to check it out on our website.

There is no question that this stunning shell, made possible by your generous support, will help us achieve our goals this coming Spring Championship season!

As a thank you, my teammates and I will be investing some sweat equity! On Sunday, March 5th, we will complete a brutal 90-minute endurance piece on the indoor rowing machine ("the erg"). It will be mentally and physically exhausting, but it's for a great cause, and will be extremely rewarding.

Thank you again for your support... especially if you have supported me before! Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!!

Please note that City Island Rowing is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and 100% of your donation is fully tax-deductible.
