City Island Rowing

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for visiting Raya and mine page. I’m Fay and this is my fourth year rowing on CIR. Both this sport and this team specifically have had such an impact on myself as an athlete and overall person. I have learned how to push myself, but also what it means to be a true teammate. Rowing has become such an important part of my life, and I love the yearly ergathon because it gives me a chance to give back to my club. All donations will go directly into improving equipment, and are greatly appreciated. 

Hi! I’m Raya and after just a few months rowing with CIR, I have learned so much and fallen in love with the sport. Coming into it, I was nervous to join a new team with people I didn’t know. Now I see there was nothing to worry about as I instantly became a part of the community at CIR. I have made friends, learned new things, and discovered what it means to be on a team. I want to contribute to CIR in any way that I can and help myself and my teammates improve.
