City Island Rowing

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page. My name is Jordan Bose and I have been rowing for 2 years, one of which was with City Island Rowing. I really love rowing and it has definitely shaped me as a person, teaching me discipline and determination that I apply far beyond rowing. Rowing has shown me how to push myself to be the best person I am for myself and, more importantly, my teammates. I have found a community and family that I could never have imagined would be this amazing. 

This fundraiser is the primary way that CIR raises money to pay for all of our equipment, including boats, oars, shoes, seats, and much more. All the JV/Novice athletes will be rowing for 60 minutes and all the proceeds of this fundraiser, the ergathon, will raise money for this equipment, which not only will benefit the team currently, but future CIR athletes so that rowing can continue to change the lives of many more girls, the way it has changed mine. 100% of all proceeds raised will go towards buying new equipment, and all of our current equipment has been purchased through this fundraiser.
