City Island Rowing

Hi! My name is Katie Korb and I am a sophomore at Bronxville High School. I started rowing the summer into my freshman year. After I had been stuck in quarantine for a long time, I wanted to get outside and finally play some sports. My brother had rowed for part of high school and made me want to try it. I soon feel in love with the sport and am so glad I do it. Not only do I love the regattas, hanging out with my teammates, working out, but I truly love to row. When I am on the water I look around and realize how I couldn't live without it. The energy everyone has to push you to your goals is amazing. Rowing is truly the ultimate team sport and I am so glad that I am able to be apart of it.
