Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado & Wyoming - Community Fundraiser

Entries have closed and a winner has been chosen! Thank you to everyone who participated and attended SFA training! 

Our names are Alex and Nathan Yang; we’re brothers and members of the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado and Wyoming’s Youth Council. Five years ago, Alex was diagnosed with epilepsy - it was a traumatic experience for both him and our family. We’re on a mission to help support this foundation and its goals, and as a part of this mission, we’ve been working on a project that will directly support an epilepsy-related cause. 

To help increase rates of seizure first aid certification, we’re giving away a free 2022 Season Pass to Elitch Gardens in a drawing!* 

How to Enter

1) Complete the seizure first aid certification at this link: https://learn.epilepsy.com/courses/seizure-first-aid-certification 

2) Send your certificate of completion to yangefco@gmail.com. If you'd like your name to be announced if you win, please include it in your email. 

3) Await the drawing on September 1st, 2021! 

Frequently Asked Questions 

Q) Are there any prerequisites for entering? 

A) The certification itself has no prerequisites, but all drawing participants should be over the age of 18. 

Q) What date will the tickets be valid for/how will I get the tickets? 

A) If you win the drawing, we'll email you with more information on how to receive your prize!

Q) Are donations necessary? 

A) You can enter the drawing for free - there is no donation requirement! If you’d like to donate, it could allow us to give away even more tickets to Elitch Gardens (or, if we have extra funds after the drawing, donations will be sent to the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado.)

The last two dates may be updated based on the availability of certification training. We will make sure to post on our Twitter and this page if anything changes!

*In the event that Elitch Gardens is closed next year due to COVID or other circumstances, we will instead give the drawing winner a Visa card with the equivalent cash value of the tickets/pass.
