All Wheels Up

All Wheels Up (AWU), founded in 2011, is the first organization in the world to fund research and development for a wheelchair spot on commercial aircraft. We’ve made a lot of progress, but we’re not there yet.
 
In 2021, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, 25.5 million Americans age five and older self-reported travel-limiting disabilities. Many of these people cannot fly at all because they cannot transfer out of their own customized wheelchairs to a plane seat. 

Our mission is to provide a wheelchair spot on commercial airplanes for travelers with reduced mobility. We can't do it without you! Please help us continue making a difference in the daily lives of people with disabilities. Your support is helping fund the future of accessible air travel!
