MTS Gives Back

Raised of $1,000

I am fundraising to help the Live Like Bella® Foundation continue to assist children battling cancer around the world. You can join the fight and help make a  difference by donating to my fundraiser today!

In 2010, our eighteen-month-old daughter, Madison Star Schafer, was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer known as AT/RT and our world, as we knew it, changed forever. Over the next two years, Maddie had to undergo many different surgeries, extensive chemo and radiation protocol. It was a long, hard road for my wife, Susie, and myself as we experienced many ups and downs through this process. At one point, Maddie was even in remission, but months later, unfortunately, her cancer returned and eventually, she lost her vision and the ability to walk and speak. She passed away shortly after.

Even through all of these hard times, she taught us to never give up, to continue smiling and living life to the fullest everyday.

With Maddie as our motivation, Music Tech Studios has a deep passion for giving back to childhood cancer research. We honor her memory by donating a percentage of all sales to this important cause since 2012. This is the driving force and heartbeat of the business. It is the foundation of the vision and mission of Music Tech Studios. We want to bring awareness to others and make a difference in the lives of children still battling cancer, giving them hope for the future.

Over the years, Music Tech Studios has provided free music lessons to all children battling with cancer, as well as putting together live performances at local hospitals and events in our community. Music is a powerful tool that can soothe and bring healing to the hearts of little ones fighting this battle. We strive to continue making an impact through music education, providing local families the opportunity to experience joy while learning how to play the instruments they love.

Mad love,

Chris Schafer

“Thank you for providing such an amazing place for my daughter to learn how to play piano and violin.”
