WTB Prom 2021: Heroes vs. Villains

I Joined the ARMY in Albuquerque, NM in 2006. I enlisted with an Airborne Infantryman contract. After completing basic training and airborne school I was stationed in Hawaii with the 25th Infantry Division 1-14 battalion. I deployed to Iraq for 15 months from Nov 2007 through Mar 2009. My next Assignment was with the 1st of the 509th (ABN) in Ft. Polk, LA. During my time in Louisiana I helped countless Units train for combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. I also got married to my wife Kristina Peterson Aug 07 2010. The ARMY then decided I would be a recruiter in Columbia, South Carolina. My wife and I had our Daughter, Lylah Peterson, in our time there. After finishing my time in South Carolina I took my family back to Hawaii where I was a part of the 25th Infantry Division 1-21 battalion. We spent two great years there before volunteering to return back to recruiting in Florida. Now I have the honor of helping more great men and women serve in the UNITED STATES ARMY right here in Vero Beach and Sebastian. 

The reason I think this cause is important is because veterans deserve a community’s support. These men and women put everything on the line to ensure our country remains safe. We need to appreciate the things we all love in this country. The best way to do that is helping the people who defended our way of life.
