The Tristesse Grief Center

The Grief Center opened its doors in 2002 as a place for all grieving hearts. A place where no matter your age, no matter how intense your grief, or how traumatic your loss, you could find support, hope, and a chance to heal. 

2022 marks the 20th year of providing professional grief counseling, support, and advocacy for people struggling with grief and traumatic loss.

Today, The Grief Center lights the way to healing for thousands of grieving hearts each year.  In 2021, its programs grew by 36%, and a record number of grieving hearts received services for the first time, including over 1800 children and their families.

Right now, we are building a critical grief support system in Tulsa and the surrounding areas for children and families in need. We are partnering with school districts, collaborating with community leaders, and providing training for area professionals. Every grieving heart deserves access to grief support.
