Space Coast Runners
The Space Coast Runners Scholarship was established in 1999 to be awarded to two local Brevard County graduating seniors. Since that time, SCR has taken great pride in providing assistance to help local students further their education. In 2021 the scholarship took on a new name and meaning -- it became the SCR Christian Lake Memoridal Student Scholarship Fund.
Christian was a SCR member with his family and an outstanding runner in high school and collegiately at Florida Institute of Technology. Sadly, he was lost in a tragic car accident at the age of 21. He left his family and friends with so many warm memories that inspire them every day. In 2025, $4,500 were awarded through the scholarship fund and we look to grow that amount annually.
