Welcome to my Cross for LifeFlight Fundraising Page!
l have the honor of serving our community as a flight nurse with LifeFlight of Maine. I've seen firsthand the critical difference our rapid response makes in saving lives. This year, I'm participating in the Cross for LifeFlight, our biggest fundraiser, to ensure we can continue providing this essential service. I'll be biking, paddling, hiking, and walking 156 miles in August. One for every patient | transported in 2024. Every donation, no matter the size, directly supports our mission.
Please consider donating and helping us keep our helicopters and airplane in the air and our crews ready to respond. Thank you for your support!
Between August 1 and August 31, I will be doing my own Crossing to support LifeFlight of Maine, a challenge that will symbolize the difficulties of providing lifesaving emergency medical care to Maine's many island and rural communities.
LifeFlight of Maine is a nonprofit organization and the state’s only emergency medical helicopter service. With three helicopters, an airplane and ground ambulances, LifeFlight brings ICU-level care directly to the patient. As Maine’s only air ambulance service, LifeFlight has served more than 40,000 patients, one life at a time, from every community and hospital in the state.
LifeFlight plays a critical role in the “chain of survival” by connecting people to the care they need. People who live in Maine and people who visit Maine—including me—depend on LifeFlight to be there for them. I’m comforted to know that they’ll be there for me, and for my friends and family, should the unthinkable happen.
I’m going to make my crossing to support this important cause. Won’t you support it, too? Just click on the “donate” button. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much for supporting my efforts, and mostly, for supporting this critically important service.
