In my work, I see every day how complex the issues of poverty and housing instability are in Los Angeles. Behind every statistic is a person or family working to find stability, safety, and a place to call home. It’s work that I care deeply about, and I’m grateful to be part of a community that believes we can make things better together.
Community change happens when people show up. WalkUnitedLA is one way to come together and support programs that help families and individuals across Los Angeles access housing, education, and economic opportunity.
I’ll be walking with colleagues, and my son may join me for part of the event as well. It’s a small way for our family to participate in supporting the broader community.
If you’d like to support the walk, your donation will help United Way continue its work across Los Angeles.
Thank you for being part of the community that makes this possible.
