Cycling to End Cancer

I'm motivated and inspired to participate in this ride and fundraiser in honor of my sister, Kate, who passed away from colon cancer in 2005. I work in Developmental Therapeutics at Johns Hopkins and see the direct impact cancer research has on so many individuals' lives. Working as a research nurse with primarily phase 1 studies, I witness how hard people fight in order to receive treatment that may give them, or even those who come after them, one more day, one more week, one more month, or one more moment to live and love. I hope to raise $2005 and ride 84 miles in the month of October.
