Dear Friends,
Welcome to my fundraising page! I am participating in the Miracles in Motion in Motion 5K, which is raising money for Johns Hopkins Children's Center. By supporting me, you will be supporting patient- and- family-centered care, education, and research efforts for the more than 100,000 patients seen at Johns Hopkins Children's Center each year.
Lilly was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia two years ago, in September of 2022 at the age of 6. We began our strong bond with her caregivers at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center right away. Lilly’s treatment was going great until we experienced a curveball in April 2023, a relapse of leukemia in her spinal fluid. She received a bone marrow transplant from me that summer and despite numerous complications, she has been in continual remission and thriving. She even got to ring the bell to signify the end of her active treatment last month!
Please consider making a donation to my page to improve the lives of patients and families receiving care at Johns Hopkins Children's Center! Your donations will go directly to the pediatric oncology division to folks that have become like a second family to us. Thank you for your support!
