I ride because I never want another mother to hear those dreadful words that describe their chid's cancer as "terminal." I ride because I never want another mother to be tormented as her child suffers through the unimaginable pain of cancer or the horrors of chemo. I ride because we absolutely must find cures or preventions so that we can have a world without cancer.
I was blessed to have Clare in my arms for almost 15 years. I am grateful that she's still with me in spirit. I learned from her how to battle this monster. Since my own diagnosis of chronic leukemia and small cell lymphoma, I know just what to do: Live Life Like Clare.
This will be my 14th year riding for PTC. I will ride for Clare until I can't. Then, I'll cheer others on as they ride.
Please help by donating what you can. Every $5, every $10 helps. We all need a world without cancer. Dance on, Angel.
