The worst day of my life was when my dad sat our family down at the kitchen table and told us he had cancer. The best day of my life was when he came home and told us he beat it.

My dad is a warrior, through and through. Cancer has affected my life in too many ways, but nothing hit closer than my dad’s diagnosis.

Pedal the Cause means a lot to me. There was nothing I could do to make him feel better, and I don’t know how to cure cancer. But I do know how to care—and I know how to ride.
