Pedal the Cause

Cancer has affected my family for as long as I can remember. I lost my dad far too young to this terrible disease, and that’s something that never leaves you. Every time I ride in Pedal the Cause, I ride in his memory and for the chance that another family won’t have to go through the same loss.

I also ride for my relatives, friends, and coworkers who are fighting cancer right now and for those that have won the battle. Their courage reminds me why this cause is so important and why every mile and every donation matters.

I’m not a professional cyclist—I’m just someone who wants to make a difference. If riding my bike can help raise money for life-saving cancer research, then every hill, every mile, and every early morning is worth it.
