Pedal the Cause

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. This year, my cycling journey carries a much deeper meaning.

In 2023, my sister Nataly was diagnosed with breast cancer. After six difficult chemotherapy sessions, she was declared cancer-free in early 2024. But soon after, something wasn’t right with one of her legs, her cancer had metastasized to her brain, and a few months later, to the cerebrospinal fluid.

Through it all, she faced this battle with remarkable strength and never lost her sense of humor.

Earlier this year, cancer took her from us.

I’m riding not just for the miles but to honor her fight, raise awareness, and bring hope to others on the same path. Every pedal stroke reminds us that we’re in this together. Every mile I ride honors her resilience and everyone fighting this disease. I ride to show that no uphill is too steep, no distance too far, when love and determination lead the way.

Every penny of every dollar donated funds innovative cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital, driving new treatments, clinical trials, and discoveries that are improving patient outcomes.
