Pedal the Cause

Cancer has touched my family in profound ways, I lost both of my grandmothers to this disease. And last year, I had my own cancer scare. Thankfully, it turned out fine, but those weeks of uncertainty and fear gave me a glimpse into what so many people face. I understand now, in a way I never did before, the anxiety of waiting for test results, the questions that keep you up at night, and the relief when you hear "it's okay."

My grandmothers weren't as fortunate. Their battles, their courage, and ultimately their loss, combined with my own close call, fuel my determination to be part of the solution. That's why on September 20, I'm riding 62 miles in a single day for Pedal the Cause.

Yes, 62 miles. It's called the Metric Century course, and honestly, it's going to be tough. My legs will burn, I'll probably question my life choices around mile 40, and I might eat my weight in energy gels. But here's the thing: fighting cancer is WAY harder. This ride is my way of showing solidarity with every person battling this disease and honoring the memory of the grandmothers I lost.

This is my 3rd year riding, and I need your help to make it count.
