Pedal the Cause

around twenty six years ago, my father was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Thanks to incredible medical care, surgery, and treatment, he has been able to overcome it and continue living life to the fullest.

Every year, I ride to honor his journey, push myself a little harder than the year before, and help raise awareness and funding in the hope that one day cancers like this can be prevented, treated, and ultimately cured.

This year, my ride also carries the memory of a close family friend's mother, who recently lost her battle with cancer at just 61 years old. My thoughts are with her family as they navigate such an unimaginable loss.

Cancer has touched so many of our lives. Every mile is for those who are still fighting, those who have won their battle, and those we have lost too soon.

Pedal the Cause is hope, community and the region’s most impactful movement to end cancer. I am proud to participate and to play a part in funding groundbreaking research at our local, top-ranked institutions that is changing the way we treat and cure cancers.
