Pedal the Cause

Cancer touches us all, leaving no one untouched by its challenges. Whether it’s you, a family member, a friend, a neighbor, or a coworker, each of us has felt the profound impact of cancer in some way. Together, we find strength and support in our shared journey.

This September 21, 2025, I will ride to honor those who have fought valiantly. I ride for those who have lost their battle: my stepdad, Jerry; my sister, Joyce; my cousin, Felicia; and my coworker, Dena. They are deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

I also ride in celebration of those who have overcome. My mother, a 93-year-old two-time survivor, stands as a beacon of resilience, and my stepsister, Cindi, who triumphed over breast cancer, continues to inspire.
