Pedal the Cause

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. This year’s event is especially meaningful to me because it marks ten years since my father, Edward Ornitz, passed away from cancer and I am dedicating my ride to his memory. I also have a laboratory at Washington University that has been engaged in cancer research and birth defects research for the past 33 years and I am acutely aware of the need to raise money from private donations to support meaningful research that will ultimately benefit all people. 

This year, I plan to ride 21 miles at the Pedal the Cause event to honor Edward Ornitz and for the millions of other families who have been affected by cancer. Please consider helping me in this journey by donating to my ride/fundraising efforts. 100% of what I raise - literally every penny - will fund innovative pediatric and adult cancer research in St. Louis at the Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
