To B: You’re such a strong little girl, and you inspire me every day to keep going along and moving forward. I’ll do this every year for you no matter what, because you deserve to know that everyone out there is fighting and rooting for you.

To my Aunt Christine: I know you’d be proud of me. Cancer is terrible no matter what age you get it, and you’d know best that no child deserves this. You’re looking down on me with a smile, and I’ll always remember that.

To Egg: You’ve only just started this fight against cancer. Your humor and tenacity will pull you through all of the hills you face, and I’ll fight all of these 24 hours with you and do my best.
