In Memory of Grant

In the spring of 2023, Grant Oldham, at the age of 26, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma — a rare bone cancer making up less than 1% of all cases.
Over his 2 year battle with osteosarcoma, Grant endured multiple rounds of chemotherapy, radiation and many surgeries. This disease led to the amputation of his right arm and rendered him paralyzed from the waist down.
Through unthinkable pain and countless days stuck in a hospital bed, Grant remained a bright light of hope and optimism. His heart, joy, and faith were a testament to the resilience of humanity when deeply rooted in the love and faithfulness of God.
In March of this year, after a relentless battle with the disease, Grant passed away from osteosarcoma.
While our hearts are heavy, we ask you help us honor his amazing legacy by participating — physically or financially — in Louisville’s Race to Cure Sarcoma, and help us make positive change for the future of treatment in this disease.
