Stephanie was a runner and athlete for most of her life. She ran cross county, track, a sprint triathlon, several 5K races and half marathons. She was diagnosed with clear cell sarcoma in 2019, which affected her left leg, so she was left unable to walk. This virtual 5K falls in July right after her birthday and tragically, around the day in July when she went to be with God in heaven five years ago. We do this race to celebrate her life, and to support this organization that creates awareness and provides research funds for this rare type of cancer. You can participate by donating, registering for the 3.1 mile walk/run, or cheering from the sidelines.
