For over 42 years, the Utah Parent Center has supported families facing the emotional, financial, and logistical challenges of raising a child or loved one with a disability. We provide trusted guidance and support across all disabilities, all ages, and throughout the entire state.
We help caregivers and professionals navigate complex systems in four key areas: education, healthcare, transition services, and community resources. We also provide direct services, such as support groups and training to people with disabilities and their siblings. All of our programs and resources are free to the families we serve.
The funds raised through this initiative will directly support the Utah Parent Center’s mission to expand our outreach and enhance the services we provide to families navigating the challenges of disability. While our center meets with nearly 10,000 caregivers each year, Utah is home to more than 600,000 individuals with disabilities—many of whom remain unaware of the free resources and support available to them. With increased funding, we can bridge this gap by reaching more families earlier, providing them with the guidance and tools they need to help their children thrive.
Every dollar raised helps us deliver personalized support to families who are often overwhelmed by the complex systems involved in education, healthcare, and disability services. These funds will allow us to extend our efforts into underserved communities, offer materials in multiple languages, train more parent advocates, and host inclusive events that connect families to each other and to essential resources.
You can be part of this meaningful work. Whether you're an individual, a family, or a company, there are many ways to make an impact. Sign up to volunteer at one of our community events, support our mission by sponsoring a fundraiser, or make a tax-deductible donation at utahparentcenter.org. Your involvement helps ensure that no family in Utah has to face the challenges of disability alone.
Together, we can create a more informed, inclusive, and empowered future for all Utah families.
