Special Olympics New York provides inclusive opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities to discover and unleash the champion within. Our athletes experience the thrill of competing in authentic sports. They overcome defeat, taste victory and stay active for life. Special Olympics New York Unified Sports and Unified Champion Schools bring together peers with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities as teammates to shape a generation where all are welcome. Thank you for supporting Section V Unified Champion Schools and Special Olympics New York.

Throughout Upstate New York hundreds of schools from elementary to college level made a commitment to inclusion by partnering with Special Olympics New York and becoming Unified Champions Schools.  These schools foster a community of acceptance and belonging through sports, advocacy and leadership.   Our programs continue to reach new heights and shaping the next generation of athletes and community leaders.
