As part of the believe it. team with Ava’s Voice, I’m proud to combine my professional passion as a speech-language pathologist with my personal connection to the Usher syndrome community as Ava’s aunt.

The believe it. team is made up of dedicated volunteers who are committed to learning more about and supporting individuals with Usher syndrome in their professional and personal lives.

Through my work with the USHlittles, I’ve seen firsthand the powerful, genuine connections that form when children are surrounded by understanding, encouragement, and community. Watching them communicate, connect, and thrive together is truly unmatched.

As Ava’s aunt, seeing the impact of this organization up close has been incredibly special. I hope to continue supporting these connections at USHthis Camp, where every child is able to be exactly who they are and celebrate that with others who understand them. The average cost per camper or mentor is $1,500.
