In 1996, my life changed forever. I was a teacher, a job I loved, until a work injury led to a diagnosis I had never even heard of: Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a rare and excruciating chronic pain condition.
Since then, I’ve become a fighter. A fighter not just for myself, but for the millions of others living with CRPS, many of whom feel invisible, misunderstood, and alone. That’s why I started Fight the Flame. And that’s why this race matters so much.
The Fight the Flame 5K and 1K Family Roll & Stroll isn’t just a race, it’s a movement. It raises awareness, builds community, and fuels our mission to support patients and fund research for CRPS.
If my story touches you, please consider donating to my page. Every dollar makes a difference. Or better yet, join my team, walk or roll with us, and help us shine a light on CRPS.
Thank you for helping me fight the flame. 🔥
With gratitude,
Beth & family
