This February I am participating in the Bfit challenge for 22Mohawks.
The BFit Heroes Cup is a weekend-long event designed to bring firefighters, police officers, EMS, and military members across the country together to raise money for multiple charities surrounding their professions and mental health.
My chosen charity is 22Mohawks. 22Mohawks is an organization that focuses on the mental health of vets and first responders through a variety of programs, and all the fundraising I do goes directly to helping them.

22Mohawks is important to me because it is the organization that brought me to K9 Finn through their pups for vets and first responders program. If I have never spammed you with pictures before, Finn is our 10 month old black lab who was placed with us mid July.
Finn was placed with the goal of bringing support and positive relationships in the home lives of first responders as it’s been shown how impactful having a dog is on critical incident stress management, as well as giving purpose through the establishment of routine. 22Mohawks gives Finn the opportunity to train and participate in CISM work.
Matthew and I are so greatful for our best friend, and it’s because of the amazing work that 22Mohawks is able to do that we have him.
I run for 22Mohawks so every vet and first responder can experience that stability and comfort that a dog can bring. I run so that the training that is provided to certify these dogs can continue to be accessible to all owners. I run to show my endless gratitude to this organization.
I have a fundraising goal of $300 which you can follow along with here! Any amount helps meet my fundraising goal.
With so much love
