Support Our Heroes: Help Us Make a Difference

On November 9, 2021, the Boston Police SWAT Team responded to a dangerous situation on Fernadale Street in Dorchester, MA. During a tense hours-long standoff, the suspect opened fire, injuring three of my teammates. Thankfully, they survived their wounds, and many have since returned to duty. However, the emotional and physical toll of that day—and many other traumatic experiences over the years—deeply affected me.  With the support of my family and friends, I recognized the need for help and sought treatment at On-Site Academy. My time there was life-changing. I gained a deeper understanding of myself, Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS), and the critical importance of addressing the mental health challenges that come with serving in law enforcement.  I left On-Site not only healthier but also with a renewed sense of purpose: to help other first responders navigate their own struggles and find healing.

Now, I’m taking that mission forward, and I invite you to join me, my two oldest sons—Mason and Nathan—and fellow members of the Boston Police Department in the 9th Annual BFit Challenge powered by National Grid. This event supports first responder and military charities, with 100% of the funds raised going directly to those in need.

Your contribution will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who dedicate themselves to protecting others, often at great personal cost. Together, we can ensure that first responders and their families have the resources and support they deserve.
