For 30 years, the Howard County Autism Society (HCAS) has served individuals on the autism spectrum, their families, and their community and provided services to those who seek them at low or no cost. Since 2007, members of the autism community and supporters in the wider community have come together for the annual Autism Walk & 5K Run to raise funds to support HCAS programming and activities. Because of this support, HCAS continues to

  • Promote awareness of autism that values the dignity and uniqueness of each individual
  • Provide information, support, and advocacy for individuals with autism and their families
  • Work to improve the quality and access to services and educational opportunities for individuals of all ages
  • Develop programs for adults with autism to address the need for housing, employment and social opportunities
  • Partner with local, county and state human service agencies, organizations and nonprofits to coordinate support services for the autism community

Your donation to the Every Step Counts Autism Walk & 5K Run supports our efforts to provide critical services, raise awareness, and educate the public about the complexities of autism. Thank you for your support!
