Overdose Lifeline Outpacing the Stigma 5K Run/Walk

Join Overdose Lifeline on October 18, 2025, for the 4th Annual Overdose Lifeline Outpacing the Stigma 5K Run/Walk to honor lives lost to drug overdose. Make a Difference and help us impact change.  In the US, there were 100,000 deaths due to overdose in 2001 – nearly 274 people a day. We will run and walk to remember those Hoosiers as well as raise awareness.

The Overdose Lifeline Outpacing the Stigma 5K Run/Walk will bring together runners, advocates, and affected individuals in a beautiful run along the Indianapolis Canal and through the Butler Campus. This run will raise money to allow the nonprofit Overdose Lifeline to continue their Education, Advocacy, and Support; helping individuals, families, and communities affected by the disease of substance use disorder.

Teams and Fundraising

The Overdose Lifeline Outpacing the Stigma 5K Run/Walk is a great opportunity to remember a loved one lost to overdose by creating a team name and bringing a group to the race to participate together.

Race participants are welcome to create a fundraising page during the registration process and
raise funds for Overdose Lifeline. All funds raised by individuals and teams will go 100% to
support programming at Heart Rock Justus Family Recovery Center.

Money raised will support Heart Rock Justus Family Recovery Center. Heart Rock is a holistic supportive living
environment where Overdose Lifeline will serve to support pregnant and parenting women
suffering from substance use disorder.
