Our runners and walkers have raised more than $10,000 per year and we hope to continue to donate these dollars annually with your help!

This fund was started by TWIG 1 in September 2007. It has inspired the community to give to local cancer patients through the FMC Foundation, and all event proceeds stay local. Cancer patients benefit by receiving nutritional supplements, life-saving screenings, and diagnostic testing such as mammograms and colonoscopies who could otherwise not afford them. Other ways this fund has historically helped patients is by providing gas cards to allow patients and families to travel to treatment, and contributing to equipment used in the treatment of cancer. Access to treatment and support close to home is crucial for members of our community, and the Cancer Care Fund is one way to make this possible.
