A $20 donation purchases 1 bio-sand water filter that can keep a family of 6 free from water-borne illness. Water-borne disease is the leading cause of death in Africa—especially among the children and elderly. Spring of Hope is working aggressively to provide bio-sand filters for each home in the region to prevent water-borne disease.

The Need Is Great

In the wake of Covid-19 pandemic, our communities were greatly affected because of lockdown imposed by the government. Through the donations from the Spokane Community, SOHI was able to come too the aid of people and help them get enough food to eat and water to drink, but the need is still extremely high!
