Richmond SPCA's 24th Annual Dog Jog, 5K and Block Party

Register before March 1 to save $10 on your chip-timed registration fee for adults or children! Starting March 1, prices increase to $50. Online registration will be open until 5 p.m. on March 20, 2026. Day-of registrations will occur on March 21, 2026. Richmond Road Runners Club will conduct our official timing. No dogs are permitted in the 5K.

Register for a fun 1-mile walk/jog with your dog! Registration is per dog. All dogs must wear ID tags, be on a leash at all times (no flexi/retractable leashes permitted), socialize well with other dogs, be current on rabies vaccinations, be at least six months of age and not be in heat. You and your dog are invited to join us for a fun-size trick training class. This brief, informative session will give you the foundation for teaching your dog the beginning steps of “Where’s your tail?” (spin) and you will leave with a step-by-step plan to bring the trick to a polished finish. Pre-registration is encouraged, as space is limited.
