Cycling to End Cancer

Sat October 1 - Wed November 30

Description

Unfortunately cancer thinks it can indiscriminately force its way into all of our lives.  That needs to change, and as quickly as possible.  Together with the physician scientists at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center we aim to do something about it!  We are gathering our family, our friends and our colleagues and we are doing our part to provide funds to end cancer, in our case, for our own personal reasons, colorectal cancer.  During the month of October, we will be cycling, indoors and outdoors, to raise money and awareness for the Colorectal Cancer Center of Excellence at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.  Our goal is to each ride hundreds, even over a thousand miles in October for the cause!  Our goal with the help of our friends and family is to raise $65,000.00.  That might not seem like a lot of money, but in the hands of Dr. Nilo Azad, Director of the Colorectal Cancer Center of Excellence, and her team at Johns Hopkins, that money can be transformative.  That money can be the start, the possibly even the catalyst, of the next big advance that ends cancer.  In the right hands, Nilo’s and her team's hands, that money has the power to save lives.  Please help us save lives!
