We first partnered with Project Active Armor years ago in an effort to promote their mission of showing every Deputy, Agent, Correction's and Police Officer that there's no reason not to wear armor on duty. In year's past, we did offer complimentary, commemorative patches to honor those registrants that joined our cause. However, the program has grown considerably since that time. While we're pleased so many are joining us in raising awareness for officer safety, we determined that the costs of the patches were making too great of an impact on the proceeds donated to the Officer Down Memorial Page and Concerns of Police Survivors. We apologize for any disappointment and do hope you understand.
The NPW5K is presented by The Officer Down Memorial Page (ODMP), a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring America’s fallen law enforcement heroes. As the largest law enforcement memorial in the United States, ODMP preserves the memories of 26,000+ fallen officers in its online memorial and reflection pages.
