Race Course
Both races start and finish at City Hall near the intersection of East Columbus Street and South Madison Street. Participants head north on Madison Street through Whiteville’s historic downtown. The 1 Mile runners will turn around just before College Street and return to the finish, while 5K participants continue through the roundabout at the Columbus County Courthouse before turning around near Brickyard Road on Pinckney Street. The course then follows the same route back, finishing at City Hall on East Columbus Street — the perfect place to celebrate your run and enjoy the Pecan Festival!
