Hello Tidy Up Tomball Participants,
We hope you are all safe after the “mini hurricane” that rolled through last night. The weather continues to not be our friend, but we shall persevere. City of Tomball crews will not have resources to assist us as needed for the event tomorrow as they work hard through their cleanup efforts to get everything back to normal. Due to this and safety factors, we will be rescheduling the Tidy Up Tomball event to June 8, 2024.
If you registered already, please let us know if you can or cannot participate at the new date by selecting one of the RSVP options below. If you or someone you know wants to come to the June 8 event date but is not registered, please arrive at 8am the morning of and you can register as a walk-up and be assigned a route at that time.

Description
What is it?
Tidy Up Tomball is a bi-annual trash clean-up event designed to bring the community together to beautify the City of Tomball.
When is it?
Tidy up Tomball is a bi-annual event. The event has been rescheduled to June 8, 2024.
Where is it?
Tomball Baptist Church Parking Lot - 401 Oxford St. Tomball, TX 77375
How does it work?
Tidy Up Tomball is open to businesses, schools, organizations, friends, and families. Everyone is encouraged participate! Teams will be assigned to pick-up trash in a specific area of town. Teams will meet at kick-off at 8am the day of the event to sign-in and pick up their information packet and materials. After kick-off, teams will go to their assigned clean-up area as indicated on the maps in their information packet.
Once the assigned area is cleaned, teams will place all of the trash bags in the specified area for the City of Tomball to pick up later in the day. Once the assigned area is completed, teams will return to kick-off to check-out their supplies and enjoy a free lunch.

What will Tidy Up Tomball be providing?
At kick-off your team will be provided with:
- a route assignment with map
- trash bags
- gloves
- safety vests
- trash picker uppers
- first aid kit
- a sharps container
- bottled water & coffee
- breakfast (available at check-in)
- lunch (available after route is completed - return to kick-off)
What should I bring with me?
- Get your wardrobe ready! We recommend wearing full length pants, tennis shoes or rubber boots, a hat and of course sunscreen.
- Be prepared to work on routes that may have ditches, slopes, tall grass, or are near the road.
- Some families opt to bring a wagon to roll along the route to help carry supplies or tired kiddos.
- We will have trash picker uppers and gloves for everyone at kick-off but if you prefer to bring your own, please do.
About Tidy Up Tomball
Tidy Up Tomball, a non-profit founded in 2023, is a community-driven initiative addressing the rising waste issue in Tomball, Texas. Initiated by local leaders determined to combat the impact that litter has on Tomball's allure, the organization is more than a group – it's a movement reflecting unity and shared responsibility. Our goal is to safeguard Tomball's charm for current and future generations, understanding that a cleaner environment enhances overall well-being, economic growth, and quality of life.
Our inaugural event occured in fall of last year and we had over 180 participants and cleaned up approximately 300lbs of trash throughout the community. We are excited to blow these numbers out of the water for our spring 2024 event. Help us Tidy Up Tomball!
