Park and Watch: Disney's A Christmas Carol

This event is brought to you by Treasure Coast Park and Watch as a charity fundraiser in support of the Treasure Coast Manatee Foundation. The Treasure Coast Manatee Foundation is a Fort Pierce local charity.

Our mission is to support and enhance environmental awareness, education, conservation and stewardship of endangered species and natural resources, fulfilled through the Manatee Observation & Education Center.

Due to COVID-19, the Manatee Center has been closed since March, with the exception of three weeks in June. We hope that this family friendly event will remind you that we continue to fulfill our mission, even as we are closed, by staying active with our community and pursuing environmental education through virtual and outdoor means.

Each Saturday, you can join us for a guided kayak tour. We have also added signage on the exterior of the building so that you can visit the Manatee Center and Moore's Creek for self-guided environmental education. Roving Naturalist volunteers continue to peruse the Creek seeking for and counting manatees each week, and tracking them on our manatee count sheets which are posted on the exterior of the building for your information too.

All Park and Watch admissions proceeds support the Manatee Foundation, and we are grateful. If you are able and compelled to donate above that amount, we are also grateful.

In a year filled with uncertainty, we are happy to be able to continue to serve you, improve our museum exhibits, and prepare to reconnect with you in 2021, as soon as we can safely do so.  Our primary concern is safety for you, our visitors, volunteers, and staff.
