Dear Friends & Family,

You have 'made the cut' -- the people I love who also care about EVERYBODY -- including the teachers and students of Oakland. 

I’m again going to Ride 4A Reason on April 25th, my fourth year riding from Oakland to Sacramento -- 110 miles with about 4000 feet of climbing -- and I would be honored if you would be willing to join my fundraising effort. 

Our dismally underfunded school system affects us all as students, parents, teachers, and neighbors. Students, first of all, deserve better. But honestly, all of us deserve better. While we build up better funding, we must not let current students be deprived of basic educational resources and experiences.

My goal is to raise $1000 by the time I hop on my bike on April 25th. Will you donate today to help me get there? 

100% of the funds I raise will go directly to these public schools in Oakland -- and Encinal HS in Alameda.
