Pedal the Cause

Hey everyone!

Cancer has unfortunately touched our family and extended families far more than we ever imagined. It’s heartbreaking. It’s frightening. It’s unfair. It’s hard.

While I ride for many loved ones who have fought, are fighting, or whom we’ve lost to cancer, this year I ride with a heavier heart and deeper determination — for my mom. After recently celebrating her retirement, she is now facing yet another battle with those unwelcome cells.

Pedal the Cause gives us a way to be part of the fight — to work toward a future where fewer families have to face this reality.

We ride in memory of Chris’ dad Ernie, Chris' mom Diane, and Beth’s uncle Dave.
We ride in honor and support of our nephew Taylor.
We ride in celebration of Beth, her dad Linus, her mom Linda, and her brother Chris.
… and sadly, for many other loved ones, family, and friends who have been affected.

We are proud to join Pedal the Cause in this fight. It is more than the region’s largest cancer fundraiser — it is a movement, a community, and a celebration of courage, fueled by the hope of ending cancer.

You can give with confidence knowing that 100% of every dollar funds lifesaving cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital — both of which have played a deeply meaningful role in our family’s fight.
