Story

Hi, my name is Cole Herrick and I have CHARGE Syndrome. I like Mario, singing toys, technology, dogs, jokes and books.  I love playing with my dogs, Snoopy & Peanut.  They are named after Peanuts and the Gang.

When you have CHARGE Syndrome it is not easy because you have to use lots of extra stuff. Some of the things I have are a BAHA & Osia (they help me hear), a g-tube (helps me eat) and a white cane (helps me walk because I have low vision and balance challenges).  I have had thousands of surgeries which I really don’t like but I love my doctors!  I want to teach people about CHARGE Syndrome and raise money for the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation. Obviously, it is important to me because I have CHARGE Syndrome.

The things that I like about the foundation are going to conferences because they are fun and I meet people from all over the world who have CHARGE Syndrome.  I have made friends at the conferences and we have become  texting buddies.  I love it!

My goal is to raise money for the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation and to teach people about CHARGE Syndrome. You can help me reach my goal by making a donation to my individual team, walking with us, or purchasing a Walk & Roll T-shirt.

I will walk with my family and friends on April 25, 2026  in the 7th Annual Walk and Roll for CHARGE.  Thank you for your support!
