This Pedal year, my mind is working overtime in praying and hoping for a good result from the treatments a friend, Don, is receiving.

Cancer research has done miraculous things in treating so many types of cancer. We're winning on so many fronts!

But, too many cancers are difficult to detect using current technology. And cure rates are too low - we must fight on until we live in a World Without Cancer!

If you know one of the many fighters who's battling a type of cancer that we have had much success with, you know that you can't ever be complacent nor assuming. Every cancer diagnosis is serious and researchers and medical professionals are constantly tweaking their approaches and therapies.

This year I'm riding for Don and all of the fighters for their success in beating the evil foe.
